Spring Break 2007: Day 3, Afternoon Edition
| Current mood: calm Category: Jobs, Work, Careers Sweet! Cha-ching! Sold a painting! Yay! The customer that came in yesterday came back today. I made a little commission today and that's grrrrrrreat! (My little homage to Tony the Tiger.) I'm chillin' now: watching people go by. I'm a little creaky in the joints and sore today for some reason...oh wait. I know why. Y'know how some people are sore one day after exercise and others are sore two days after exercise? Well, I'm a two day after person. Plus, I haven't had nearly enough water in the last three days. Perhaps I'll have a soak tonight when I get home - internal and external. Too funny, the mall music here has been horrible since right after Christmas. It's like elevator music on depressants. Horrible. But! Today there have been two songs that I kind of liked in a lame Muzak kind of way. Somehow the instrumentation and the arrangement still managed to capture the basic feel of the music. Oh, I looked up the lyrics for the songs and they're pretty cool. They both fit how I feel today with regard to romance: most of me open, willing and ready (the first song) but still a small part of me closed off, scared and unsure (second one). I hope you dig the lyrics... What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life All the seasons and the times of your days.
I want to see your face,
Through all of my life I'm Not In Love |
