It's been a while since I've been on here, huh? How many people have missed me? LOL. Work at the school is done. I need to go in and do some cleaning but all the grading and stuff is OVER. It's possible I may not be hired back because of Oregon standards for high school teachers... you have to be highly qualified and apparently I'm not highly qualified. Whatever happens, though, God is in control so I'm not going to sweat it. If it's time for me to move on then He will provide. I have no doubt about that. I had a job for one day at Lane Bryant but due to circumstances that are currently beyond my control, I had to quit. I'm not totally bummed... after all, retail is tough. The amount of work you do for what you get paid is NOT worth it. It would have been nice to get the clothing discount, though. That's for sure. Ah well, I'll get a tan, instead, taking care of the kids every other day this summer.

I did get moved, but I'm still working on getting settled. Thankfully I have all summer to do it. The internet is hooked up buy my computer isn't up and running due to circumstances beyond my control. Hmmm. There are a lot of circumstances in my life right now that are beyond my control. LOL. It's summer time, however, so I'm going with the flow. Today I'm at my bro's house playing on his computer. I'm getting ready to take Joseph on a couple of errands, though, so I'll close for now.

Life is crazy... that just came to me. I'm full of things to say right now, thoughts to mull over and express via blogging, but I don't have the time or the privacy. I'll get back to you.

A rainbow colored, abscessed, monster of a thing.

Originally started October 2018. Gosh, I've needed to write for such a long time. I can't even get into journaling for some reason. I don't even care if anyone reads this, that's not the point... I just need to talk - unhindered and unfettered - talk. Y'know how when you get a splinter under your fingernail and you can see the thing so you know it's there? So you get your extraction tools: fingernail clippers, tweezers, maybe a sewing needle or push pin, if you're my dad you get a pocket knife... if you're over 35 you get your reading glasses... you get peroxide or rubbing alcohol... everything you need and then you go in for minor surgery. You poke around and scrape the underside of the nail. You pull at something dark and then realize it's just dirt. You pick at it a little too hard and maybe it bleeds a little. August 23, 2007 - Thursday On Again Off Again Current mood: tired Category: Life If I believed in astrology I would make some kind of comment about how today the moon must have been in the 6th house and Saturn was surely aligning with Pluto because why else would my day have felt so "off" and ended up with me in tears? After all, any true music proficionado would know that an ON day would consist of the moon being in the SEVENTH house and JUPITER aligning with MARS... A.K.A. the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius. I do not, however, believe in astrology. I am most certainly a fan of the 5th Dimension (Marilyn McCoo was so foxy back in the day!) but I'm not a fan of crediting or blaming my "off" days on the alignment...
