Tonight’s the night we’ll make history - Styxx is a great band. So I’m sitting here with my pals SM & LD and we’re gearing up for a night of craziness. Well, two of us are. One of us has to stay home and be responsible. LD is going to watch a movie with HB to cheer her up and SM and I are heading out to Eugene to see a concert. Wee hoo! My hair is LOVELY tonight with loose waves and I’m smelling pretty good - scratch that I smell fabulous. I’m even wearing shoes with heals. Don’t freak, it’s true. We are meeting CG and she is bringing some friend who I think might be cool, but I’m not sure. Anyhoo, it’s going to be a fun and very late night - not to mention noisy.

But the real reason I’m typing is to share with you that I did manage to purchase my Bonnie Belle Lip Smacker AND I was able to not only replace the Cotton Candy, but I was able to pick up a Dr. Pepper. Oh, yeah. There are few things in life that I really need. I need Christ, I need the love of my family - even if it comes in a weird package, and I need the love and fellowship of Christian friends... but right below that? I need Bonnie Belle Lip Smacker and tonight I got some.

Let the games begin - and no I don’t mean I’m going to be getting any lip action tonight, but I know that my lips will be moist, soft and they will taste good - even if I’m the only one tasting them.

God is good and Lip Smacker is sweet. Have a great night!

November 7, 2006 - Tuesday I aint skeered...aint afeered a nuthin! Current mood: confused Category: Life I've got some serious issues... I'm the Cowardly Lion, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Ugly Betty all rolled into one. How can one person be such a wimp in some areas, a totally confident terminator in other areas and such a sweet and humble mix in still other areas? Where does this come from? It's not multiple personality disorder (despite what some of you might think). August 23, 2007 - Thursday On Again Off Again Current mood: tired Category: Life If I believed in astrology I would make some kind of comment about how today the moon must have been in the 6th house and Saturn was surely aligning with Pluto because why else would my day have felt so "off" and ended up with me in tears? After all, any true music proficionado would know that an ON day would consist of the moon being in the SEVENTH house and JUPITER aligning with MARS... A.K.A. the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius. I do not, however, believe in astrology. I am most certainly a fan of the 5th Dimension (Marilyn McCoo was so foxy back in the day!) but I'm not a fan of crediting or blaming my "off" days on the alignment...
