Move It! I'm Gonna Lose It!

So I'm taking a little break from moving right now. I've got the cable turned to the contemporary Christian music station and I'm grinning a little because some of it's not so contemporary. Hmmm. I think I listened to this song when I was in high school, I'll go check it out... Keith Green - "He'll Take Care of the Rest" from the late 70s!?!? Wow, I was in elementary! It's commercial free, though, and I like that. I guess some of those songs DO take me back to simpler times. LOL. There are days when I'd go back in a heartbeat if I had the chance. Of course I'd like to take my knowledge with me, but that would never be the case. I'd have to go back just as naive as I was back then and the pathetic part is I'd probably do the same stupid stuff I did the first time around...

So...moving. I may not be around (on the computer) for a while simply because I've got to do some re-arranging of things, including my computer situation. I'm losing unlimited computer access for a little bit - it's undetermined as to how long but shouldn't be TOO long. My Christmas present from my parents was money to go towards a new computer so I've got to do some comparing and shopping and then I'll be back around. The computer I have now is a "gimme" I got for free but the C drive is corrupt so even with high speed internet it takes about 5 minutes to load a page at times. It also has other problems that make it crash or freeze. I'll need something better, for sure, when I head back to school because the program is mainly online. Anyhoo, I may not be able to play around online for a while but I'll be checking email and stuff from my mom's SWEET laptop.

If I don't get back on here, which I'm sure I will but I'm covering bases, I'd just like to wish everyone (my huge following of blog readers, lol) a wonderful new year and I'll be in touch soon. I love you all!

I have decided that I just don't care if my life has become an if-it's-not-one-thing-it's-another-one-comedy-of-errors-after-the-other-I-could-write-a-book-about-this-crap saga. It's my life, it's the only one I get, these are the choices I've made, this is the person I've become. My journals, Heaven forbid they are ever published, are fraught with stories of laughter and tears, joy and heartbreak, struggle and... well, struggle. (Wait... Biggest Loser Casting Call

Alert! This is a long one. It doesn’t take much to excite me these days, and as a rule I am, for the most part, easy to please. I try not to ask for too much, expect even less than I ask for, and generally try to be thankful for what I am given. Every once in a while, however, something really big or really cool comes along, and I psyche myself up for the event and against my better judgment I hope… I pray… I yearn… for something that will be truly life changing. When will I learn? Okay, okay, before I go into trashing mode, I will admit that there were good things about the day.
